After receiving many telephone calls from an investigator of the military counter-intelligence, human rights defender Nasta Loika agreed to come for a talk on 15 Febraury. Though the investigator said he would pass her an official writ after her coming to his office, he didn't keep his promise.

At first the captain of the military counter-intelligence Dzianis Navitski showed Nasta print-outs from the Internet where she said that the work of the investigation on the 'mass riot' criminal case was a mess and the large investigative group couldn't coordinate its activities well enough. Navitski mistakingly took it for characterization of work of the counter-intelligence.

Then he confessed that the main goal of the investigation was to destroy the myth that the 'mass riot' on 19 December had been organized by the Belarusian security services. He offered her to cooperate with the investigation, for instance – to identify persons at the photos and videos made during the action.

However, the human rights defender refused to do it, referring to the vagueness of her status in the case. After this she was sent off to the corridor for several minutes, during which captain Navitski consulted with an unknown person over the telephone. After the end of the talk he went out, said goodbye to her and expressed regret that she refused from collaboration.

Bear in mind that on 4 January Nasta had been interrogated by KGB officers Barysevich and Svistun and about two weeks ago received a call from an investigator of the Main Police Department of the Minsk City Executive Committee Dashchynski.
