UCP activist Usevalad Shasharyn jailed for 9 days
An activist of the United Civil Party Usevalad Shasharyn has been sentenced to 9 days of administartive arrest by Moscow District Court of Minsk today, reports Radio Liberty.
The deputy head of the UCP’s executive committee Aksana Kryshchanovich has informed about it.
"We do not know the official court’s decision. In response to our request they answered: “You are not participants of the trial so we will not report anything to you”, - said the activist.
Usevalad Shasharyn was interrogated by KGB about December 19 events twice, the last interrogation took place yesterday.
Aksana Kryshchanovich has informed: “He left KGB with the lawyer and then the connection with Usevalad was lost. It turned out that our activist was imprisoned in Akrestsina. He was delivered to court later”.
