Two more opposition activists have been declared suspects in the “mass riots” criminal case, initiated following the 19 December protest rally in Minsk.
Dzmitry Novik was detained in his apartment on 23 December and is currently in the KGB pre-trial prison.
On 27 December, Zhodzina KGB and police searched the apartment of Mikita Likhavid, serving a 15-day term for participating in the 19 December demonstration. The search warrant mentioned the activist as a suspect in the “mass riots” criminal case.
