According to representative of the ‘Human Rights Defenders for Free Elections’ campaign Uladzimir Labkovich, the expert evaluation of the 115 copies of election observation guidelines seized by the Belarusian customs department on 25 November will take up to 20 days. The evaluation was initiated after the law enforcement officials declared the materials might feature information undermining state security and the existing Constitutional system.
However, the human rights defenders argue that the guidelines deal with long-term election observation.
