Hrodna region: black list of ‘unreliable persons’ keeps growing
On 14 November the activist
of the campaign team of Vital Rymasheuski Mikola Bausiuk was detained at the
frontier point Pryvalka. He was set
down the bus by which he was returning home from Lithuania and kept at the frontier
point for about 2 hours. He was subject to personal examination. His belongings
were searched as well. Mr. Bausiuk is convinced that such attention from the
side of border guards is connected to his participation in the electoral
process.
The list of the public and political activists who are detained and examined on
the border in the Hrodna region is growing all the time. Some of them (members
of the BPF Party Vadzim Saranchukou and Yauhen Skrabutan) filed inquiries with the
Hrodna border group, but haven’t received any answers so far.
