defender Maryna Statkevich compared the composition of the precinct election commissions
in Barysau with the ones that had been formed during the election to the local
councils in spring 2010. The conclusion is deplorable: the majority of the old
members remain in the present commissions. In fact, they constitute 80-100% in
63 out of 112 PECs.
In the greater part of the remaining commissions there are 65-76% of new
members. The whole commission consists of new members only in the village of Ikany of the Barysau district.
