Baranavichy: 5 oppositionists to work in precinct commissions
On 3 November the Baranavichy Town Executive Committee
held a sitting for forming precinct election commissions. All 66 commissions
were formed without discussion the candidacies to them.
The head of the organizational and personnel department Volha Dudko stated that
284 candidates were nominated by collection of signatures of electors, 237 – by
groups of workers, 294 – by NGOs and political parties.
Only 5 representatives of opposition parties were included in the PECs: the member of the Belarusian Social Democratic Party
Hramada Aliaksandr Paulouski became a
member of PEC #36, the members of the Belarusian Leftist Party Fair World K.Parapetau, A.Halkevich,
M.Hostsina and K.Lankina were included in PECs
#16, #31, #19 and #15 respectively.
