Shklou: precinct commissions formed in the best traditions of Soviet Union
On 3 November the Shklou District Executive Committee held a sitting to form precinct election commissions. The process was watched by observer Mikhail Kucharenka.
’The question about the formation of the commissions was considered for about
40 minutes. Somebody read the lists of members of election commissions and the
ways of their nomination. Everything was held according to the best traditions
of the Soviet time, because it was impossible to determine the social status of
members of the commissions. I wonder whether it was so difficult for the
executive committee to print the lists of the candidates and hand them out to
the present people, as it was very hard to listen. Now the interested parties
will get the opportunity to familiarize with this information only after its
publication in the district newspaper Udarny
