Barysau: UCP and trade union of radio electronic industry delegate about 50 representatives to precinct election commissions

The Barysau town organizations of the United Civil Party and the Belarusian Trade Union of Radio Electronic Industry delegated 49 representatives to the precinct election commissions.

Thus, representatives of the UCP were nominated to 40 commissions, and representatives of BTUREI – to the remaining 9. The trade union also delegated by a special protocol the human rights defender Maryna Statkevich to the sitting of the Barysau District Executive Committee (DEC) at which the precinct election commissions will be formed.

This step was taken because the address of the observers of the Barysau Territorial Election Commission Aleh Matskevich and Maryna Statkevich to the DEC asking to let them watch the formation of the precinct commissions still remains unanswered. Let’s hope that the human rights defender will have an opportunity to watch this procedure as a representative of the trade union.
