The electoral teams of the potential candidates for the presidential position are getting more active in Zhodzina. The electoral pickets of the representative of the United Civil Party Yaraslau Ramanchuk, the leader of the civil campaign European Belarus Andrei Sannikau and the leader of the Speak Truth campaign Andrei Sannikau have been working for three days already.

Some of the people who sign in favor of the democratic candidates express their dissatisfaction with the unequal conditions for different candidates, saying they are forced to sign for Lukashenka at work. In particular, the administration of the Belarusian automobile plant (BelAZ) put one of the workers before an ultimatum – they refused to issue him a vacation leaf if he didn’t sign for Lukashenka.

A member of the Bureau of Information Systems at BelAZ, said that all workers of the bureau (about 90 persons) were ordered to bring their passports on 6 October. The Chairperson of the official trade union committee Alena Kazak explained that the working collective will be visited by members of the electoral team of Aliaksandr Lukashenka.
