Poltask: no democrats on town election commission

Mikalai Sharstsiuk, representative of the Belarusian party of the Left ‘Just World’, was not elected member of Polatsk town election commission. His nomination was dismissed since it did not specify which local office of the party nominated the activist. At the same time, the inaccuracy was not corrected by the executive authorities during the submission of the application, despite orders by the Central Election Commission to provide consultations during nomination for election commissions.

Mr. Sharstsiuk is going to appeal the decision in court.
