The official websites of a number of districts of Homel region, including Rahachou, Loyeu, Brahin, Buda-Kashaliova, Mazyr and Vetka, have not yet announced the start of the presidential election campaign. Under the Electoral Code, persons willing to join local election commissions have the right to apply for it until 26 September. At the same time, few of them know about the possibility, since no information on the forthcoming election is published by the official sites of the executive committees.
Similar blackout can be seen on the websites of the majority of towns of Polatsk district, Vitsebsk region.
