State Control Committee and KGB are searching Vardamatski’s office
A search is going on in the sociological laboratory Novak. It is conducted by officers of the department of financial investigations of the State Control Committee. They are copying information from the laboratory’s computers. According to information of the European Radio, KGB officers take part in the search as well.
The photo correspondent Yuliya Darashkevich was detained during the search, but was released soon afterwards. According to the journalist Aliaksandr Ulitsionak, the officers are going to carry out the computer equipment from the office.
Bear in mind that the head of Novak Andrei Vardamatski has just returned from Moscow where he had taken part in a Belarusian-Russian conference about the perspectives of cooperation of the two countries.
