The prosecution of Teresa Sobol is reinstated

The public prosecutor's office reinstated the prosecution of the Chairman of Ivyanets office of House of Union of Poles in Belarus Teresa Sobol.

It was reported by Andrzej Poczobut, an activist of House of Union of Poles in his blog.

According to the journalist’s information, today Teresa Sobol attempted to leave for Poland. She was detained at the frontier post in Brest and it was told that she cannot cross Belarusian border again. A few hours later, Teresa Sobol’s lawyer was informed by the investigative officer of Valozhyn Regional Department of Interior Affairs, that already yesterday the public prosecutor's office reinstated the earlier closed case in respect of the Head of Ivyanets House of Union of Poles in Belarus and handed it over to the same investigative officer, who earlier twice abated prosecution of Sobol, for investigation reasons.

Obviously, notes Andrzej Poczobut, authorities decided for the umpteenth time to sharpen the situation over House of Union of Poles.
