TB patients of an enclosed-type hospital for consumption in Vaukovichy (near the town of Dzyarzhynsk) have gone on hunger strike.
The patients demand the hospital administration to create normal conditions for them.
The protesters say their strike was caused by actions of the hospital administration the day before, when the patients were locked in a store room. One of the strikers told Radio Svaboda the conflict had started long ago, and militiamen beat some people the day before. The details are being found out.
The patients say they are deprived of an opportunity to buy personal-care products, they are restricted in walking on the territory of the hospital.
