Tell the Truth
On 30 April the Orsha police confiscated from Ruslan Kanavalau, an activist of the Speak Truth campaign, 1,700 air balloons. On 12 May, Ruslan Kanavalau was summoned to the Orsha Town Procuracy for drawing up a violation report on this incident.
The report was drawn up under Article 22.9 – ‘distribution of printed materials without imprint’. The policemen said they would pass this document to court and told Kanavalau to expect a writ. Nevertheless, they returned the confiscated balloons to the owner.
