Minsk region: 1 out of 6 complaints is granted
As said to Minskaya Prauda by Aliaksei Vasiliieu, the Minsk regional election commission received six complaints against non-registration of candidates for local Councils of Deputies. However, only one of them was granted – the complaint of Tamara Kavazehenka, a resident of Barysau.
The Barysau district election commission hadn't registered Tamara for haven't mentioned a piece of land in her income declaration. The regional commission agreed with the arguments of the plaintiff, who stated that the piece of land was passed to her for life tenure by the town Council of Deputies, but wasn't owned by her.
Four complaints were dismissed, and the fifth one, lodged by Dzmitry Tryhuba against the non-registration by the Mikhanavichy territorial commission as a candidate for a village Council of Deputies, was forwarded to the Minsk district election commission.
