The case on the evasion of Yauhen Yakavenka, activist of the Belarusian Christian Democracy party, from the draft, was passed to the Tsentralny district court of Homel. He learned it on 6 April from a letter of the local procuracy.
On 19 March he was informed about instigation of a criminal case under Article 435, part 1 of the Criminal Code. On 22 March was interrogated at the Tsentralny district police department of Homel and made to sign the undertaking not to leave.
By the way, on 11 February Yakavenka was fined by court for non-coming to the military enlistment office after receiving an official writ. However, this verdict was reversed by the Homel regional court on 13 March.
