Complaint against non-registration is being considered at the office of the commission Chairperson

Pensioner Tatsiana Kavazhenka was invited to a sitting of the Minsk oblast election commission at which her complaint against her non-registration as a candidate for deputy by Barysau district election commission. On 31 March in the morning she received a written invitation, which was doubled by a telephone call several hours later.

Kavazhenka was informed that ‘consideration of the application on the issue is scheduled for 1 April on the address: Minsk, Chkalau Street 5, office #229 at 11 a.m.’ It seems that the application will be considered at the office of Aliaksei Vasiliieu, director of Minsk  regional territorial fund of state property, Chairperson of the regional election commission. Meanwhile, the mail address of Minsk regional election commission is: Minsk, Engels Street, office #118. According to the law, this is the place where such complaints must be considered.
