According to the BPF observer Barys Bukhel, the Mahiliou Regional Election Commission refused to allow the officially accredited observers attend the commission meeting on 29 March. ‘I left but soon discovered I had left my personal belongings in the assembly hall and had to return. The situation looked as follows – the Commission secretary Liubou Makaranka was reading out some instructions to the commissioners,’ says the observer.
