Brest oblast: opposition representatives are included in precinct commissions at constituencies where opposition candidates won’t run

The formation of precinct election commissions is over. Heads of the regional structures of opposition parties state that there’s a general tendency not to include opposition representatives in the precinct commissions belonging to the constituencies where opposition candidates intend to run.

The Belarusian Party of Leftists Fair World nominated 26 representatives to the election commissions of the Brest oblast. 3 of them were included in district commissions and 5 – in city commissions.

The Belarusian Social Democratic Party Hramada nominated 15 persons, 4 of whom were included in precinct election commissions: 2 – in the precinct commissions of the Leninski district of Brest, 1 – in a precinct commission of the Maskouski district and 1 – in a precinct election commission in the town of Pruzhany.

The Belarusian Popular Front nominated 29 representatives, but just three of them were included in election commissions: 1 – in the town of Biaroza and 2 – in Brest (19 out of 29 representatives were nominated in Brest).

For Freedom movement nominated 13 representatives, 2 were included (1 in Pruzhany and 1 in Hantsavichy) in the precinct commissions belonging to the constituencies where For Freedom candidates intend to run.

The organizing committee of the Belarusian Christian Democracy didn’t nominate any representatives to election commissions in the Brest oblast.
