According to the timing schedule of the elections to the local Soviets of Deputies of the 26th Convocation, the local administrations needed to establish by 23 February election precincts, determine their addresses and boundaries and publish this information within ten-day term.


Vitsebsk oblast

In Vitsebsk oblast, almost all local state media of the Vitsebsk oblast published information about the decisions of the state organs about the establishment of precincts including the addresses, the location of the election commissions and the rooms for voting. According to this information, residents of the Vitsebsk oblast will vote at 923 precincts.

The Rasony and the Ushachy districts have the smallest numbers of precincts (11 and 18 respectively). The largest number is in Orsha and Vitsebsk – 61 and 154 respectively.

Five precincts will work at military units: one is located in the Pastavy district, another one – in the Polatsk district and 154 – in Vitsebsk.

51 precincts are located at sanatoriums, hospitals and rest homes and will accept the votes of those who undergo medical treatment or spend their holidays there.


Minsk oblast

A total of 1 091 precincts were established in the Minsk oblast.
 
The Barysau district has the largest number of precincts – 112. The Minsk district has 85 precincts, the Maladzechna district – 77 and the Slutsk district – 64.

The smallest numbers of precincts are in Zhodzina (23), the Uzda district (26) and the Staryia Darohi district (28).
