In the Homel oblast ,the authorities introduced to their websites columns dedicated to the elections to the local Soviets of Deputies. However, it is too early to say that one can receive complete official information at the websites of all district executive committees in the Homel oblast.

The appropriate banners, placed to the websites of the Homel oblast executive committee, the Homel city executive committee and 21 district executive committees bring the viewer to the pages with information about the elections and texts of the official documents adopted at the republican, oblast, district and sometimes even settlement level. No information is provided about the elections to the village Soviets of Deputies. None of the websites present the information in the Belarusian language.

The information at some of the websites is very concise. For instance, the Law section of the website of the Rahachou district executive committee contains only reference to the order on appointment of the elections and their timing schedule, whereas the most necessary documents including the decision of the local power structures and the Rahachou district election commission are absent. The section News of Election Campaign is completely blank.

There’s no link to the website of the Rechytsa district executive committee in the catalog of the web resources presented at website of the Homel oblast executive committee, and the link to the website of the Svetlahorsk district executive committee is placed under the heading Chachersk district executive committee. The information about the website of the Homel city executive committee is placed after the links to the websites of the Homel oblast police department and the Homel oblast military procuracy.
