Orsha authorities propose seeking information on elections at web-site with unknown address
As Human Rights Defenders for Free Elections have already informed, the Orsha leaders of political parties have complained to a number of state organs against not being informed about the time and place of the joint sitting of the Orhsa district executive committee and the presidium of the Orsha district Soviet of Deputies, at which the decision on forming the district territorial commission on elections was adopted. According to the innovations in the Election Code, the organizations that had nominated their representatives to the commissions have the right to take part in such sittings.
In the answer, signed by V.Khutski, Deputy Chairperson of the Orsha district executive committee, it is stated that the information about the time and date of the sitting was put on the internet site ‘vybory-2010’ on 26 January 2010. There text of the answer provides no information about the site address. The attempts to search it on the web gave no results. It is unclear, how the organizations that decided to take part in the elections can guess that this information should be found on this mysterious web-resource. It is impossible to do it without the gift of clairvoyance.
