Navahrudak: detentions on suspicion in flinging paint on Lenin monument

In the morning on 7 November the monument to Lenin in Navahrudak was flung with green paint. Not far from the monument the police detained Daryia Bakhur and Yury Kazak, activists of the organizing committee of the Belarusian Christian Party in Navahrudak.

The detainees were guarded to the district police department, where the violation reports were drawn up. According to Pavel Seviarynets, gloves and paint were found in the detainees’ belongings.
