BCD Party denied premises for founding congress
The organizing committee of the Belarusian Christian Democracy party has received the first refusals of premises for holding the founding congress.
As BelaPAN reports referring to the BCD press service, refusals were received from the Central House of Officers, the Republican Art Gallery and the Culture Palace of Minsk Automobile Plant. The House of Officers didn’t give any grounds for its refusal; the art gallery said it didn’t have available rooms till 31 October and the Culture Palace referred to the tour of Moscow Illusion Theatre. The organizing committee of the congress applied to ten organizations for renting premises. Requests for help in holding the event were also sent to the Administration of Lukashenka and Minsk city executive committee.
