Mikalai Autukhovich has been hungering for 82 days already

Youth activists continue actions in support of the political prisoner Mikalai Autukhovich, who is on hunger strike for the 84th day in pre-trial detention facility #1 of the police department of Minsk city executive committee.

A banner Freedom to Autukhovich! was hung out on a bridge above the belt road and Hromau Street in Minsk city district Malinauka, jeans-by.com reports.

Spreading posters and leaflets with information about political prisoners continues in the Belarusian capital. Activists of the civil campaign European Belarus hold actions of support of political prisoners every day.

The entrepreneurs from Vaukavysk Mikalai Autukhovich, Yury Liavonau and Uladzimir Asipenka were detained on 8 February and guarded to pre-trial detention facility #1 of the police department of Minsk city executive committee.

Protesting against criminal persecution and absence of investigative measures, Mikalai Autukhovich has gone on indefinite hunger strike on 16 April. The political prisoner demands to send his case to court or release him, Yury Liavonau and Uladzimir Asipenka on their own recognizance. Autukhovich is on hunger strike for 82 days. His life is in serious danger.
