At 10.30 a.m. in Brest the police detained some participants of the picket against the politically grounded eviction of the civil activist Zhana Abramava from her apartment. Other people came to the place to replace them. The police again detained Mikhas Iliin and Andrei Sharenda.

The picket participants Yury Bakur, Natallia Kastsiuchyk and the human rights defender Raman Kisliak were detained as well. They were guarded to the police station and required to give explanations. Andrei Sharenda was let go without any violation report being drawn up.

Today the activists of the Young Front and the European Belarus are holding actions of solidarity with Zhana Abramava, whose family the local authorities are trying to evict from apartment.
