Activists of Young Front organization have held a picket in front of the House of government. They held a white-red-white flag and a flag of the organization, as well as the streamer ‘NO to union, NO to occupation’.
Young people were holding three more posters: ‘No to union with Russian Empire’, ‘We are not a shield for you!’, ‘Russia=occupation’.
Policemen came near the picketers in 15 minutes. Young Front members explained that the rally was dedicated to the official holiday, the day of “unity” of the nations of Belarus and Russia.
As informed by RFE/RL, activists were not waiting for riot policemen and a paddy wagon to arrive, and left Independence Square.
