18.8% of all voters voted early from September 23rd to 26th, BELTA reports. The reporter was given the number by Mikalai Lazavik, secretary of the Central Election Commission.
Today is the last day of the early voting. The main Election Day of this parliamentary election is September 28th.
According to the CEC secretary, 17,3% voted early in Brest region, 22,6% -- in Vitebsk region, 20,1% -- in Homel region, 17,2% -- in Hrodna region, 19,1% -- in Minsk region, 19% -- in Mahiliou region, and 16,9% -- in Minsk city.
Under the Belarusian law, the election will take place in the first round, if 50% of registered voters turn out.
