On September 24th Dziatlava district election commission considered complaints of candidate Yanina Huzouskaya, who represent PCB and the United Democratic Forces. The first complain was about the fact that her speech broadcasted on the local TV channel, was both times interrupted by programs of Brest TV studio. The commission decided that was not a violation, since the commission had no possibilities to influence the technical aspects of broadcasting (It is interesting, however, what will the Central Election Commission say to that?). The second complaint of Yanina Huzouskaya was against her opponent – pro-governmental candidate Mikhail Orda. On September 1st Orda presented valuable gifts to the students of Navayelnia secondary school – gym equipment, etc. The commission did not see the violation either – they decided that could not be considered election campaigning. They argued, at that point Orda acted as an MP but not as a parliamentary candidate, while the presents had been bought within teh framework of a state program. The commission also received a conplaint aga8inst Yanina Huzouskaya. Parents of Navayelnia School complained Huzouskaya hinders Mikhail Orda in his work with the “grateful” voters. According to commission members, the complaint was signed by 35 people. On its turn, the commission pointed out the allegedly illegal distribution of Tovarishch newspaper in the district. As a result, the district commission did not give any official warnings.
