Mahiliou: Ales Silkou’s campaign materials torn down at the gates of Elektrarukhavik plant

“Vital Makaranka, member of my initiative group, posted my campaign poster at the gates of Elektrarukhavik plant, -- candidate Ales Silkou says. – when he came to the plant gates again he noticed that the poster was not there. Instead, there were campaign materials for the pro-governmental candidate Yushkevich hanging on its place”.

“Vital asked the security guard what had happened with Silkou’s portrait”, -- Ales continues, “he was told the portrait had been simply torn down and thrown away and another poster was posted in its place”.

Ales Silkou is preparing a complaint to the commission of Mahiliou-Centralnaya district # 85.

Besides that, members of Silkou’s initiative group took pictures of the places where campaign poster of Yushkevich was posted. They claim the posters are posted in the places which are not determined by the law. They are planning to complain about that too.
