Niasvizh: precinct commissions declare ‘cold war’ to BHC observer

After the long-term observers of BDIHR OSCE visited precincts #61 and #62 in Niasvizh electoral constituency #72 the electoral commissions declared a ‘cold war’ to the observer from the Belarusian Helsinki Committee Aleh Nikulin.

According to Nikulin, now the commissions refuse to provide for familiarization the minutes of their sittings, though earlier he could familiarize with them without any problems. They also refuse to answer any of his questions.

Nikulin also says that after the visit of the OSCE observers the officers of Niasvizh district executive committee increased the pressurization of members of precinct commissions lest they said something undesirable concerning the electoral campaign.
