Maladechna: “Official” contenders already appear on the radio

Registration of candidates to the Chamber of Representatives takes place until August 28th, 2008. However, the pro-governmental nominees have already started agitation.

For example, Mikalai Zhhun, director of Maladechna State Politechnical College applied for registration of his candidacy to Maladechna city district commission # 70. The contender is sipported by the local authorities. That is why he has already got two praising articles with pictures in Maladechanskaya Hazeta (on August 9th and 20th) and appeared on the local TV.  

Besides that, on August 25th , at 6.10 p.m. Mikalai Zhhun spoke on the regional FM radio "Minsk waves".

Such contenders are allowed to do everything. At the same time, the district commission considered the issue of distribution of printed materials with the message of the United Democratic Forces and punished the UDF contender A. Shumkeich for that.
