Vitsebsk oblast: obstacles to initiative group of Tatsiana Seviarynets

While collecting signatures for oppositional candidate Tatsiana Seviarynets, the members of her initiative group faced different problems. One of them is that the members of the initiative group of the pro-governmental candidate Henadz Hrytskevich lied to the electors that they had the right to sign only for one candidate.

Besides, some of the people declared their support to democratic candidates, but refused to give any signatures. They said that they had been threatened with dismissal from work for it.

Bear in mind that the authorities used threats and pressurization of the members of the initiative group of Tatsiana Seviarynets to hinder the registration of the initiative group and collection of signatures for her candidacy at Vitsebsk-Hork electoral district #11.
