Baranavichy: state media agitate for pro-governmental candidates

No agitation is permitted by the law at the present stage of the electoral campaign. However, the state media often publish materials about pro-governmental candidates.

For instance, Brest newspaper Zarya, #85 of 2 August 2008, published an article about S.Pishch, director general of Baranavichy open stock company Garant-service, whose initiative group has been registered at Baranavichy eastern district electoral commission #6. There the electors are informed that this year he graduated from the presidential Management Academy and when he was 30 (in 1996) he became the director general of the enterprise, and deserves attention and respect. But why Zarya writes nothing about other candidates running at the same electoral district? Don’t they deserve any attention?
