Polatsak: Opposition members who “will not hinder the process” included in election commissions

Members of opposition parties were included in some district election commissions (one to each). Thus, PCB member Liubou Shchadrova became member of commission # 28 (Polatsak city district), and UCP member Alexander Yudau became member of Miory election district commission # 24.

At the same time, Valery Shauchenka, well-known activist of the Movement for Freedom, was not included into Navapolatsak district election commission.

By the way, Navapolatsak authorities have already violated the law by failing to publish the list of commission members in Friday issue of the official newspaper Novy Horad. The next issue will come out only on Tuesday. This way, it will be not 5, but 8 days since the creation of the commission until the publication of its list in the press.

In private conversations representatives of the authorities admit, they included the opposition members, “who will not hinder the work” into the commissions.
