Pavel Kurianovich, activist of the civil campaign European Belarus, was sentenced to 15 days of prison for participating in an action of solidarity with the people of Tibet.
The action took place near the Chinese embassy to Minsk on March 17. The demonstrators were holding a banner Free Tibet! and two flags – Belarusian and Tibetan ones.
As a result, two activists were detained by the police – Palina Diakava and Pavel Kurianovich. The under age Palina Diakava was later released.
