Zmitser Zhaleznichenka to join the army

According to Zmitser’s mother, he was summonsed to local military registration and enlistment office and informed that he would be sent to railway troops in Zhodzina in spite of suffering from hypertension.
Meanwhile, Zhaleznichenka was detained in Homel yesterday on suspicion of theft. He was interrogated and released. He was also told he would be summonsed later in case of necessity.
His mother is sure Zmitser’s second expulsion from Homel State University was coordinated with the military office.
Later this day he declared a hunger strike in protest against his illegal expulsion and enrollment.
