Case against BPF Youth Activist Sent for Revision
On September 21st Leninski court of Minsk heard the case against Alexandra Klimovich. The girl was detained during the summer camp organized by the BPF Youth.
During the hearing the judge read out the report written by Ivatsevichy policemen. None of the police officers who had drawn up the report managed to come to the trial. The report missed the personal data of Mr. Dulia who was the main witness of the prosecution. That is why the judge could not invite him to the hearing. As a result, the case was sent to Ivatsevichy for revision. The next hearing will take place there as well.
The youth summer camp was broken up by the local police. All the participants were detained and taken to Ivatsevichy police department. The police officers charged all the summer camp participants with disorderly conduct (Article 17.1 of the Administrative Code). 14 other members of BPF Youth will be tried this week.
