Staff of Hrodna Ideology Services Actively Work to Promote Benefit Cuts for Citizens

Several dozen information groups, created under auspices of ideology department of Hrodna regional executive committee, meet with workers, pensioners, and students of the region on a daily basis. During the meetings the government propagandists explain the new policy of Lukashenka’s government of benefit cuts. They explain, that the assistance will be redistributed and will remain available to the citizens who really need it.

Both workers of industrial enterprises and rural residents are forced to visit the meetings with representatives of the ideology department. Lacking staff, the authorities made the propaganda work a duty of BRSM members and officials from executive committees.
