The pro-rector of Mahileu State University of Kulyashou Buzuk threatened two students with expulsion from the university if they go to America this summer.

Two students signed contracts with an American company Work and Travel USA for getting jobs in this country for the summer period. The girls sent an appeal to the dean who officially allowed them to take their exams ahead of schedule.

The students successfully passed half of the exams. Some teachers gave them the marks they deserved automatically. The girls needed a permission of the university’s administration to pass the rest of the exams. They sent an appeal to the pro-rector who rudely refused them and threatened them with expulsion if the went to America.

The pro-rector Buzuk also added: I will annul all your marks for the exams if you leave. We do not want to cooperate with students going abroad. According to the law, students are not allowed to leave the country during the semester. The semester in Mahileu State University of Kulyashou officially ends on May 23. Students who manage to successfully finish the curriculum have the right to pass their exams ahead of schedule.

But the girls were deprived of this right. At the same time students of the same university, members of the Belarusian Republican Union of Youth, are allowed to pass their exams ahead of schedule and will soon leave for work in Anapa. The girls are planning to pass their exams and leave but they know that they may no longer be students of this university when they come back.
