Human Rights School to Be Held in Summer 2007
The participants to the school will be chosen by contest from the Belarusian citizens who will apply for participation. Within the school’s program its participants will familiarize with the history and philosophy of human rights and the instruments for their defense at national and international level.
The lecturers of the School are representatives of the leading human rights organizations of Belarus and other countries, well-known and authoritative specialists in human rights and jurisprudence.
The place of holding: Lithuania (Vilnius). Working languages: Belarusian and Russian.
Every group will have 18-22 persons. The school sessions for youth participants aged 18-25 will take place on:
17 -- 23 June
24 – 30 June
8 – 14 July
15 – 21 July
29 July – 4 August
The session for 20 teachers who have humanities and human rights in secondary educational establishments is scheduled for 5-11 August.
