Organizing Committee of Chernobyl Way Creates Organization of Chernobyl Victims

A scheduled meeting of the Organizing Committee of Chernobyl Way has taken place. Issues of organizational and informational preparation for the rally on 26 April have been discussed. The chairman of the Belarusian People’s Front party Vintsuk Viachorka and the head of Chernobyl commission of the BPF party Iury Meliashkevich have made a report on preparation to the rally which is carried out by the BPF party members.

As said by Iury Meliashkevich, preparation for the training conference which is to take place before Chernobyl Way is taking place at the moment. The conference is to be divided into two sections: a scientific one, where reports of researchers of nuclear contamination problem after the Chernobyl catastrophe are to take place, and a practical part, which is to become an initiative group for creation of Chernobyl victims’ organization.

The organization is to unite liquidators of the Chernobyl nuclear power station accident, people relocatees from the contaminated areas, public associations.
