Interrogations in Vitsebsk Case Resumed
Witnesses are interrogated by an investigator of Vitsebsk prosecutor’s office who had arrived to Minsk for that.
As we have informed, the criminal action for organizing group actions grossly violating public order has been brought up for holding a number of actions in June 2006. A white-red-white flag and a streamer where placed on the central square of the city, leaflets were distributed, graffiti painted.
Dzianis Dzianisau and Tatsiana Ielavaia are suspects in the case. Meanwhile, Dzianisau has spent a month and a half in a remand prison.
More than 80 persons are witnesses in the case. During the investigation actions psychological pressure had been applied on young activists. Some of them were evicted from universities. KGB attempted to recruit some of them.
