Young Front activist Zmitser Fedaruk was interrogated today by the prosecutor’s offices. During the interrogation he was officially charged with participation in an unregistered organization, reports RFE/RL.
Fedaruk had to give a written undertaking not to leave Minsk. KGB instigated criminal proceedings against Young Front members on February 4. Several dozen of its members were interrogated. Several people have a status of suspects. Earlier in 2006 Zmitser Dashkevich was sentenced to 1.5 years of jail for acting on behalf of unregistered Young Front. Now he is serving the sentence in Shklou prison.
Let us remind you that Fedaruk was detained in the evening of March 22 and arrested for 5 days.
