Pro-Lukashenka Youth Union to Hold “For Independent Belarus!” Event on March 25
BRSM (pro-Lukashenka Belarusian National Union of Youth) will hold a number of mass events within the framework of a public and patriotic program “For Independent Belarus!”, press service of Minsk city authorities told BelaPAN.
A concert of pop groups and singers will start at noon of March 25 near the National library. Youth festival of street culture will be held at Minsk Airport “Misnk-1”.
According to Uladzimir Zubryk, deputy head of ideology department at Minsk city executive committee, the actions “For Independent Belarus” have been initiated and organized by the Belarusian National Union of Youth. The Minsk city executive committee’s department for youth affairs is the co-organizer of the action.
On March 25 the pro-democratic society celebrates the Freedom Day by a mass action on October Square in Minsk. Freedom Day celebrates the 89th anniversary of creation of the Belarusian People’s Republic.
