“Free Belarus” collected 7,140 signatures.
“We will use the official channel to hand the signature over. Lukashenka’s regime is represented here in Warsaw by the Belarusian embassy, and we will give the petition to them. Certainly, we realize that the Belarusian regime is not likely to pay attention to several thousand signatures. However, it is our duty to demonstrate solidarity”, one of the organization’s leaders Kuba Michalowski told RFE/RL.
