Joint Prayer for Belarus to Take Place
The Committee for Defense of the Repressed “Solidarity” invites the friends and families of the repressed, all people of good will, Orthodox and Catholic Christians, to join a joint prayer.
The prayer will remind about peace, agreement, and mutual understanding in the society, about the need to end repressions, and about defense of youth activists. The prayer will start on March 18, 1 p.m. in the Orthodox Church of St. Peter and Paul. On March 25 Catholic believers will pray during the Mass at St. Virgin Mary Cathedral. The Mass starts at 8.30 a.m.
The Committee for the Defense of the Repressed also invites representatives of other denominations to join in the prayer for Belarus at that time in their churches, and non-Minsk residents – to pray in their local churches.
