Youth Pass to Embassies Appeal with Calls to Facilitate Liberation of Political Prisoners

On 7 March youth activists passed to the Embassies of Great Britain, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, France, Czech, Sweden and USA an appeal to take the appropriate measures that will result in liberation of political prisoners’ including a youth activist Dzianis Dzianisau.
The authors of the documents state that the absurdity of the charges given to Dzianis Dzianisau is evident’ and the democratic community of Belarus is indignant at the lawless actions of the authorities that increased repressions instead of stopping them’. The appeal was signed by the chair of the United Civil Party Anatol Liabedzka, the leader of the Party of Communists of Belarus Siarhei Kaliakin, the chair of the Labor Party Aliaksandr Bukhvostau, a deputy chair of the Belarusian People’s Front Party Iury Khadyka and a former candidate to the presidential position Aliaksandr Milinkevich.
